We have been performing free second opinion service visits here at 911Furnace.com for 20 years. It isn’t new. There are so many service companies and handyman out there that have never bothered to really learn what they are doing that they can cause more harm than good.

Sometimes the heating technicians do a great job at diagnosing the problem, but a poor job of explaining to you and sometimes the prices for the furnace repairs are just too high.

So, if you think that your heating service company isn’t telling you exactly what is going on, or you just want another opinion on the work that needs to be done, just give us a call. We will come out for free and diagnose your system, up to 1 full hours’ time, at no charge to you whatsoever.

How ask for a Free Second Opinion

When you call for service simply mention that you would like a free second opinion. You will be instructed to show proof that you have had another company out their first. “Another company” doesn’t mean someone over the phone or a relative who had a similar problem. “Another company” means that service person has already been to your home and inspected your system and has given you some sort of written diagnosis or estimate for your furnace problem. You don’t have to show us the prices, feel free to cover them up, but we do need to know that this is a real second opinion. This is just one of the many ways that we are helping our community to stay safe, save money and be comfortable.

Why do we insist upon proof of the other service company?

We are constantly battling landlords trying to get free services and people that seem to want to just talk and share our company rather than want their heating and furnace needs addressed. Our staff is highly trained and it does cost us money to send a truck and a skilled service person to your home. In order to keep our prices as low as they are we need to limit the number of heating service calls our staff do each day so that they have the time to find and fix the problems the first, rather than guessing and returning when the furnace breaks down again.
